High School Football is an awesome experience.  For those that play, it is a period of time that will provide many positive experiences, life lessons and wonderful memories.  In order to maximize the high school football experience, I believe that a coach and coaching staff should have a vision for the football program that includes a set of core values and a standard of excellence in how things are going to be accomplished.  This vision should also include how the program will influence the physical, mental and spiritual development of the participants in the program and ultimately how time as a Huskie football player can assist in developing boys into young men of high character, integrity and humility.  In short, this vision and the consistency that it is communicated and carried out will become the “culture” of the football program.
